A great project, our floors
Derthona Basket’s new home is taking shape, which includes a 5,000-seat arena, several multi-purpose courts, restaurants and leisure spaces, as well as a building that will house Derthona Basket’s headquarters.
When a sports club is healthy and serious, it can be seen not only by the results obtained on the field, but above all by the far-sightedness with which it operates. In the company’s plans there is the will to make Derthona take that extra step that is missing to enter by right among the
greats of the Italian basketball movement by building their own sports hall, built inside a real Sports Citadel in Tortona.

Currently, on behalf of Codelfa, we are carrying out the floor coverings of the outdoor basketball courts and will soon begin with the resin coverings of the stadium bleachers.
The solution for Derthona’s basketball courts
We are applying an innovative, highly elastic multilayer system based on acrylic resins for professional and competitive indoor and outdoor tennis, padel and pickleball courts. It can be applied to old, already coated floors, or to new asphalt or concrete floors.
This type of covering provides adequate playing comfort, excellent technical performance, quick and safe changes of direction of travel, and a balanced balance between balance and gliding on the part of the user. The performance characteristics are in accordance with the UNI EN 14877 standard classifying the system in class SA 11-19, i.e. able to absorb shocks in a percentage between 11 and 19%.
