RESIN FLOORS - Wineries
For flooring, it is important to understand the functions that need to be taken into account when designing a winery. In beverage processing areas, in wet processing areas and therefore in the entire production cycle, it is necessary to minimise the level of biological contamination throughout the entire work process, right up to the correct storage of the products, in cold storage areas or underground. This also includes respect for the safety and protection of the operators.
Solutions resistant to high temperature variations and thermal shocks, with sufficient anti-slip to guarantee high performance in wet areas. For dry areas it is also possible to apply a smooth finish for easy cleaning or decorative for showrooms.
Surfaces must:
- Be highly resistant to chemical spills of liquids and raw materials
- High resistance to thermal shock, steam sterilisable
- Continuous surfaces, with few or no joints to prevent microbial growth, with continuity between floor and wall
- Possibility of covering vertical surfaces
- Must be highly non-slip and safe for operators
- Allow full integration with drainage channels and sumps
- Be stain and dust resistant, non-toxic (VOC free), odourless and durable
- Resist wear and tear, falls and impacts, and forklift traffic.

To prevent the accumulation of dirt, bacteria and potentially contaminating processing residues, the design and installation of drains for the collection and removal of liquids is important. In accordance with HACCP standards, a surface equipped with a drainage system helps to increase the level of hygiene and operator safety. Fillets more effectively prevent dirt and bacteria from settling in the cracks between perimeter walls and the floor, making the flooring continuous and surfaces easier to clean.
