The redevelopment project
Talea (Coop Liguria real estate) starts the redevelopment of the former Sio area, where a public park will then be built, a new road system and an Obi group sales point, the first in Liguria.

Construction of concrete floors
On behalf of PLT Costruzioni we created the industrial floor (approximately 6000 m2) inside the sales area on the ground floor, through the supply and installation of concrete type C 30/37, XCl, SS, Dmax 32mm, pumped, with manual installation, for an average thickness of the screed of 20 cm. With the floor cured, seal the contraction joints by cleaning, inserting a polyurethane cord and sealing with rapid elastic polyurethane material.
We also took care of the construction of the external industrial floor in the goods unloading area on the ground floor, and of the industrial floor on the vehicle roof, of the construction of the vehicle ramps, as well as the installation of the prefabricated SMART JOINT joint. Inside, we subsequently proceeded with the mechanical polishing of the concrete flooring using a wet sanding system, through 5 successive steps with progressive diamond tools, called Prima Polishing Fast System, including consolidation using lithium silicates such as Prima Hard and surface treatment with transparent water-repellent and stain-resistant product.
Creation of resin flooring
To cover the industrial floor we protected the surface with the Mapei Mapefloor System 31 multi-layer epoxy system. A joint-free surface, resistant to intense foot traffic and therefore highly resistant to wear and washing, a floor suitable for a GDS environment like this.
