Obi’s first showroom in the world opens in Milan, featuring Prima flooring

Milan, 1 October 2025 – Obi’s first showroom in the world has opened in Milan in the Dateo area, at Viale Piceno 11. 450 square metres dedicated to home design. It is the first investment of its kind in Europe.

We were responsible for installing the resin flooring in the showroom.

The Prima Pavimenti solution for the OBI Milan Showroom

Our work on the flooring involved preliminary work and preparation of the substrate. We restored the flatness of the surface by creating an epoxy screed with an average thickness of 30-35 cm and then applied a finish using a Mapei-certified multi-layer epoxy system.
The minimalist grey colour was chosen from the available RAL colours by the project management team.
