Anti-slip Ramps
Uncompromising safety
The ramp offers grip and durability
Anti-slip concrete ramps, generally positioned outside a structure, are used to facilitate the passage of vehicles.
They usually feature a herringbone finish that provides high tyre grip even in adverse environmental conditions, ideal for steep slopes.
They are made by spreading a mineral aggregate-based mortar over the fresh concrete, which armours the surface to give it high mechanical resistance, and then working it with tools such as templates, straight edges and spatulas to create the herringbone grooves. The use of high-quality materials makes the ramp solid and durable over time, despite frequent vehicle traffic and freeze-thaw cycles.
We create non-slip ramps for shopping centres, industries, public spaces, underground garages and public areas.

ADVANTAGES
Realization
Construction begins with preparing the ground and creating a solid base of at least 15 cm. The formwork and reinforcement are positioned, then high-strength concrete is poured, capable of withstanding the stresses of vehicular traffic and resisting atmospheric events.
A surface layer composed of cement, quartz and special additives is spread over the still-fresh surface. The work is done entirely by hand with spatulas and brushes, requiring great skill on the part of specialised operators to achieve the desired texture.
The ramps can have two types of surface: a “brushed” surface with a grooved effect, or a “herringbone” surface, which is more common for driveways. The latter guarantees excellent tyre grip even in wet conditions, while the grooves allow water to drain away. Both are available in a range of colours.
