Concrete Flooring
Prima Ground®
Architectural washed stone concrete
Stone aesthetics and technical performance for prestigious outdoor spaces.
‘Washed gravel’, more commonly known as ‘washed stone’, is an attractive, monolithic architectural concrete paving solution for outdoor use. Prima Ground® consists of concrete (possibly fibre-reinforced) and gravel, which is selected as required or from recycled materials.
Prima Ground® fits perfectly into any architectural context, even in areas of historical and landscape interest.
Suitable for redeveloping areas, increasing value, or for new constructions.
The cementitious base, which is available in different colours, and the selected exposed aggregates allow for extensive customisation.
Prima Ground® is a continuous surface suitable for vehicular and pedestrian traffic, non-permeable. It must be laid on a sloped substrate to allow water to drain away.
Easy to maintain. Stable and durable, resistant to stress and atmospheric agents.

ADVANTAGES
A versatile solution
Used in urban redevelopment projects such as squares, pavements, cycle paths, car parks and driveways, or in seafront and lakeside avenues, panoramic terraces, pedestrian walkways in green areas or parks, and sidewalks.
Highly customisable
Washed gravel flooring can be highly customised in terms of cement matrix, type of aggregate, patterns or texture. Fine marbles, granites or porphyries. Available in different colours and grain sizes. Essential cuts in the flooring can be concealed using patterns or wind roses.
Long-lasting and durable
Resistant to temperature variations, the paving does not undergo deformation due to vehicle traffic (no potholes).
Execution times
Washed gravel flooring is quick to lay, reducing construction time.
