## LEED Prima Flooring: Certified Sustainable Materials

The main competitive **advantages** for those who adopt LEED standards are the high quality of the final building, the significant operating cost savings these buildings offer compared to traditional buildings, and third-party certification.

Just like the entire building, **the materials used in its construction must meet certain requirements**. They must be suitable, resistant, and durable; safe to use; and their production and processing must not pose a risk to the environment or workers in the event of a fire. While in the building, they should not negatively affect the health of occupants. Finally, they should be disposable or recyclable without causing significant environmental impact.

## LEED certification on Sika products

Prima Pavimenti utilizza prodotti **Sika** con **Dichiarazione informativa LEED®**. I sistemi poliuretano cemento contribuiscono ai **crediti LEED NC** e **LEED EB** per edifici sostenibili.

**Prima Pavimenti utilizza esclusivamente resine a bassissima emissione VOC** (sostanze organiche volatili) con materie prime riciclate da residui industriali. Filiera a km zero per ridurre l'impatto ambientale dal produttore al cantiere.

Tutti i residui provenienti dai nostri cantieri, vengono smaltiti in discariche autorizzate.

Prima Pavimenti uses Sika products with LEED® information disclosure. Polyurethane cement systems contribute to LEED NC and LEED EB credits for sustainable buildings.

Prima Pavimenti uses only resins with very low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions, which are made from raw materials recycled from industrial waste.

A local supply chain means that the environmental impact from the manufacturer to the construction site is reduced.

The materials we use are free from pollutants and solvents. This demonstrates our commitment to environmental protection and safeguarding the health of our operators and others. This enables us to work in areas without having to suspend activities in nearby areas, ensuring that our clients can continue their work.

All waste from our construction sites is disposed of in authorized landfills.
