Design resin flooring

Miss Sixty’s new store, located in Palazzo Tarsis, was recently opened. The concept, with its contemporary and minimalist design, includes the colour yellow, which identifies the brand.

Prima pavimenti was responsible for the resin floor and wall coverings.

ADOPTED SOLUTIONS

Prima Epox Floor – Self-levelling, non-solvent epoxy coating with glossy finish, yellow, 2.5 mm thick.

Self-levelling epoxy is a pigmented resin coating that provides a continuous and uniform surface, ideal for commercial environments where design, resistance to heavy foot traffic and, frequent washing are priorities. High customisation: wide range of colours available and, on request, realisation of the brand logo or other pictograms on the surface.

Prima Concrete Floor – Cement-effect epoxy resin coating, 6 mm thick

It is used for the construction of interior floors subject to abrasion through the use of self-levelling cement mortar based on special hydraulic binders, with ultra-fast hardening, for thicknesses of no less than 6 mm. A glass fibre mesh weighing no less than 330 g/m2 is incorporated into the primer coat. The final protection of the flooring is carried out through the application of specific transparent polyurethane finishing products with high resistance to wear. Joints were made on the surface by cutting and sealing with a single-component polyurethane product.

For the cement-effect coating:

Compressive strength (EN 13892-2) (N/mm²): at 28 days ≥ 40

Flexural strength (EN 13892-2) (N/mm²): at 28 days ≥ 11

Determination of wheelchair action (EN 425) (type W, no. cycles 25,000): delamination: No

Certified for low emissions according to the German AgBB standard (Health-related Evaluation Procedure for Volatile Organic Compounds Emissions (VOC and SVOC) from Building Products);

Fire reaction class Bfl – s1 according to EN 13501-1.
