Certified industrial flooring solutions for the confectionery and bakery industries.

From large industries to small and medium-sized ones, they all share the same critical needs.

The perfect surface that combines hygiene, resistance, and durability.

In the confectionery and bakery sector, Prima Pavimenti has understood a fundamental truth: from large industries to small and medium-sized ones, they all share the same critical needs.

Strictly following HACCP regulations, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards, and operating smoothly without interruptions. This is why Prima Pavimenti offers certified resin solutions for surfaces that precisely meet these needs: durable, aseptic surfaces that are perfectly integrated into production processes.

Anything that traditional coatings cannot guarantee. Chipping tiles, cements that absorb moisture and bacteria, and escapes that are impossible to sanitise are the silent enemies of food production.

Prima Pavimenti laid flooring in areas where these materials have been failing for more than 40 years. In confectionery companies that cannot afford subsidence under the weight of industrial mixers and ovens. In industrial baking, trolleys and forklifts pass hundreds of times a day. In any environment, a traditional surface could be severely damaged by the use of aggressive detergents and intensive sanitisation cycles.

Prima Pavimenti is aware that every floor has a food company’s reputation.

We worked on the restoration of the flooring of a leading company in northern Italy offering leavened breakfast products since 1935, proposing simple, traditional flavours of artisanal pastry making. This company has also focused on restoring the plant’s floors to ensure an efficient and highly hygienic production environment.

In some areas, we demolished the existing floor and completely rebuilt the support. In these production areas, we then applied a certified epoxy multilayer with a thickness of 2.5 mm, in the RAL colour chosen by the customer.

Some areas, on the other hand, have not been completely demolished, but have been rebuilt (with grinding and subsequent consolidation) with the laying of a 1 mm thick epoxy multilayer to even out the surface with the remaining parts (same previous RAL colour).

One of the areas restored with a specific solution was the washing area. In this kind of industry, the washing area is a space equipped with automated washing systems (such as washing booths or tunnels) specifically designed to efficiently and sanitise equipment, containers, trays and trolleys used in production. The primary objective of this area is to ensure compliance with the highest hygiene standards and to prevent cross-contamination of food, which is fundamental for the safety and quality of confectionery products.

In the washing area of this company, we applied a polyurethane-cement coating to support high stresses. We applied a coating of 6 mm thickness, slightly rough. This solution guarantees greater resistance: withstanding thermal and liquid shocks. It does not support the growth of bacteria or mould, and has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals. RAL blue version.

Prima resin floors offer total impermeability and chemical resistance thanks to the absence of porosity. They guarantee safety with non-slip surfaces. In compliance with the strict hygiene standards required in the food sector and, consequently, all HACCP regulations, thus guaranteeing maximum safety in food production environments.
